THIS IS IT!!! Quite possibly THE holy grail of Star Wars comic collectibles!!! For every 4,999 copies of Vader Down #1 purchased, retailers could purchase just 1 copy this extremely rare variant, a mostly black and white cover by Chip Zdarsky, featuring Vader and Jaxxon. Rumour has it that it was produced to parody DC comics who had promoted a 1 in 5,000 retailer incentive variant of Dark Knight III: The Master Race #1. Vader Down made it to retailers first, a week before Dark Knight III, with many variants, including a full color Zdarsky variant!!!

 

$8,500

 

Would consider selling, but prefer trading for higher grade key first appearance Marvel Comics.

I know you don't mean it this way, but for such a rare book, a statement like this could impact the perceived value of the comic negatively, knowing that there could be another one on the census in the next month or two.
