Crossed +100 opinions

So when I saw that Alan Moore was doing this series, even though I wasn't getting the Crossed series, I added Crossed +100 to my pull list, because, you know, Alan Moore.

 

I hadn't been reading the book yet, so I didn't notice until I was doing my order this month that Moore was no longer writing.

 

So, I will ask those who HAVE been reading, is this worth continuing to pick up with someone else writing it?

Don't know whether that means no one here reads the book, or that lots of people do, but don't have an opinion on it.

I think it reads quite well. Alan Moore left a lot to play with.

I'm only up to 006 but the 'speech' was quite interesting in the way words had become jumbled over time.

Made it hard to read initially, but I soon got used to it.

Probably as 'new' a plot as they can make in the 'Crossed' universe.

 

'Wish you were here' is the best though, by a mile.

 

Free to read, and of course, not safe for work (or anywhere for that matter)

The Moore arc of this book was epic - I'm not even a fan of Crossed (but I'll read anything by Moore, so gave it a go).

 

I haven't read Spurrier's continuation, so can't comment on that I'm afraid...
