A recent acquisition. Distributor's spray on top FC and BC.

 

There are a couple of dents to the right of the top staple on the FC.

Maybe an 8.0-8.5. I'm not sure how or if the distributor spray affects a grade. Maybe someone can chime in.

I think the spray will keep it from getting a higher grade. I thought it's still nice enough to warrant a 9.2, but I was questioning myself as I posted it. That spray is particularly detracting.

True. But it looks much better in mylar with a full back.

Does anyone have examples of graded books from CGC with overspray to this extent? How do you think it affected the grade?
