Nah. Twitter was actually trending earlier this evening with the rumor that Jonah Hill is more likely up for The Riddler than Penguin.

Fortunately, based on one person that posted he had heard Riddler, which disregarded the facts.

Which then The Hollywood Reporter confirmed after this there is no confirmed role just yet.

Yeah - I saw those.

But it's worth noting one of the main reasons "Riddler" was trending on Twitter last night was a bunch of folks presuming he'd be up for the Penguin and a whole bunch of other folks noting that he's been basically skinny for the last three years.

This amid another unconfirmed report that McAvoy may be under consideration for The Riddler as well. (Personally, I hope not - too obvious a choice.)

You mean from the account that temporarily changed his handle to 'Deadline' and then changed it back to Wholesome Account?

Gotta watch these accounts that attempt to parody trusted accounts. Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter experience this a lot.

Lemmon, a four-time Academy Award nominee, received Oscar nominations for his work on each of the films in the “Planet of the Apes” trilogy. Reeves directed the latter two installments.

In 2017, Lemmon won the Oscar for his visual effects work on “The Jungle Book.”

The early stages of development for “The Batman” were quite turbulent. Originally, Ben Affleck was set to star as the Caped Crusader in addition to writing and directing the film. Affleck had completed a -script with former DC Entertainment president Geoff Johns, but decided to leave the director’s chair in Jan. 2017, with Reeves quickly replacing him. Affleck later abandoned the project altogether in Jan. 2019.

Reeves will also produce the film, alongside “Planet of the Apes” producer Dylan Clark.
