This is where the costume designer is apparently drawing their inspiration from for the Riddler. Rumor has it that they are a big Pulp Fiction fan.

I can remember almost myself from laughter seeing this at the theatre in university when it came out.

US productions shooting in the UK including Warner Bros’ The Flash starring Ezra Miller and Searchlight Pictures’ Untitled Murder Mystery with Saoirse Ronan were understood to be going ahead as it emerged the UK government is poised to introduce tighter international border controls for incoming visitors from high-risk destinations, including a compulsory two-week hotel quarantine.

This will mirror the quarantine requirements already in place for other international production hubs including Australia and New Zealand.

Warner Bros also confirmed the UK shoot of The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, is due to wrap on schedule in March.

I'm watching the Batman movie marathon on Showtime right now. I'm still not sure people appreciate how important 1989 Batman is to the modern superhero comic book movie. Even though Tim Burton's two Batflicks were unique Tim Burton style "living cartoon" movies, he along with his crew, showed future filmmakers how to do costumed super-heroes for a modern audience. Though the Bat-franchise faltered after he got fired from them by WB, his movies showed Sam Raimi how to do a Spider-Man movie and Bryan Singer how to make an X-Men movie(sans the Burtonesque quirkiness), leading to their own successful franchises, which led to the Nolan Batverse and the MCU and Worlds of DC.

One year after the burgeoning coronavirus pandemic shut down production on The Batman, that's a wrap for Jeffrey Wright's Gotham City cop Jim Gordon. On March 14, 2020, Warner Bros. announced a 14-day production pause just weeks into London filming on the Matt Reeves-directed reboot starring Robert Pattinson as a rookie caped crusader. Reeves confirmed production was halted indefinitely on March 25, and with filming still on pause, the studio delayed Batman by 14 weeks in late April. After moving from June to October 2021, and moving again from October to spring 2022, filming resumed in September and wrapped on March 13 — 356 days out from Batman's scheduled opening on March 4, 2022.

Joining Reeves in celebrating The Batman wrapping on Instagram, Wright wrote: "Gordon out. ...for now. Exactly one year after shutting down. Some ride.🦇 "

On Reeves' detective-driven Batman story, Wright added, "You go back to the original, it's DC, it's Detective Comics and the -script is really beholden to that, beholden to this idea that Batman is the world's greatest detective. I think as [Dark Knight trilogy actor] Gary Oldman once described, Gordon has something of a Watson to him. The -script honors that and it also set a tone that was very clear, and a tone that has been captured in that trailer."

THR: 'Except for The Batman, which is set on an alternate Earth known to geeks as Earth-2, DC is plotting its films and shows to share the same universe. Key to setting up its new status quo will be The Flash (Nov. 4, 2022), which will tackle the multiverse and is said to also lend clarity to the future of the Justice League with multiple Batmen, as well as Supergirl, appearing.'

Interesting!
