The old "Classic Threads in CGC Forum History" got deleted for unknown reasons.Luckily, Google archived it here. I fixed the formatting as best as I could.

Someone who remembers this do a search for it and post a link here. This must have been when I was on hiatus. lol

I looked for that one before the Ewert thread but gave up when a couple of searches didn't turn it up. I'll try again. I think I still have the pic that RedHook Photoshopped of Ian and Vinny on tricycles (which we made into T-shirts). I have seen Bonds25 sport his shirt in convention photos. Classic stuff.

The one that sticks out to me is where I was ripping on Matt Stanley by comparing him to comic-keys and the *spoon* came here as an anonymous poster and we figured out who he was. This is his first board appearance...he calls himself "Methuselah" in the thread, and that was his board name before it was Hammer:

Just got through the Ewert fiasco. Having been around only 3 years into serious collecting, stories like these are a real eye opener.

Glad to have such resources like this forum around.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the hobby (worship)
