I’ve been waiting several months for this special set to become available again. Worth the wait and every penny! Took most of the weekend to build.

I just finished rewatching the first season of Stranger Things and the references are still fresh in my mind.

Thanks to @Buzzetta I no longer have to wonder what’s up with the white sticker on the box.

I've been debating this set... I want it... but do I "need" it.   There is nothing wrong with it... I absolutely love it... just trying to figure out how I would incorporate it into m Lego city...

If I did ever get it... I might build a base around it to conceal the "Upside Down" world unless you saw it from behind. ... like building a slope to the rest of the city.

Right now I am at wit's end.  They did the bathroom but were off by a bit so my toilet is too close to the wall.  Like... you can nap against the wall by tilting you head and leaning in, that's how close it is.  Office is not getting done for awhile until I am finished dealing with this...

Then... then I am looking for ideas.

I feel your pain, I need to replace my aging furnace. As for your city, you could do the house portion only!

Scored an awesome bag of Joes in the wild today. I actually need most of these. Looks like I’m going after swivel and straight arm versions of 82-83 now. I also got some sweet Acrylic display stands for Father’s Day

I like the newer guy with the raft and paddle.

Anybody with new finds?  I'll try to find something to post tonight.

FYI, stay away from ERSTE-1117 on E-bay.  What a wagon.

I found one I’d be happy with.  My first graded toy.  The quality of the acrylic case is amazing.  Only beef was that it was filthy when I received it.  I don’t know how the seller had it stored or displayed but it had a nice layer of dust/filth on it.  I know you don’t use windex on acrylic.  I just used a damp washcloth with hot water and it cleaned up perfectly.  Crystal clear now.  Pretty excited to have this now.

Congratulations!

The ROTLA Indy figure to me is one of the nicest vintage carded figures of all time.

I forget if we talked about the Larry Hama Kickstarter action figure from 3 YEARS AGO. This just arrived this week...FROM 3 YEARS AGO. There were lots of issues with the factory overseas. Anyone else get this? it comes with about 6 extra hands.

I’m waiting for mine...

Anyone else get that promo for discounted loose and complete Star Wars figures from Brian’s Toys?

I got impulsive once I saw the prices were better than going rates on eBay.  I was happily surprised at how nice of condition they were in.

Thank you.  I’d love to have a Marion Ravenwood to go with him, but that’s a whole new ballgame.

I hear you. I have a carded Indy of my own. I also have the Cairo Swordsman, the mail away Belloq and The Map Room Playset. I got Indy for Christmas in 97 or 98, I was in high school, my mom got him off this newish thing called eBay. I wanted Marion also but never found her. Part of me wants to finish the job and complete the first wave but I don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of graded figures, or buying MOC pieces described as mint only to arrive in poor shape.

That’s awesome.  The mail away figures are pretty cool.  If I’m going to spend the amount of money it’s going to take to get Marion, it would have to be graded.  Too many unknowns buying an on card figure like that from someone you don’t know over eBay.  I’m definitely not an expert when it comes to say, re-gluing of a bubble or something.

Must have been a good discount, they are usually way over market.  I quit dealing with them decades ago when they started sending repro weapons.

@Buzzetta this is what we did with ours. we just built the two different houses (with the associated trees) and never combined them/flipped the upside down one. Makes for easier play for my daughter who likes setting up scenes from the show. And I would imagine far easier to incorporate into a lego city (the upside down one would fit with your "spooky" area if you have halloween/scooby doo stuff) and the right side up one fits into the "rundown part of town on the outskirts"

Are you able to get the roofing to connect with the porch support beams? Mine don’t connect all the way, it’s driving me crazy.
