Got this with the Devilfish.  

It was the last Joe toy I received as a gift.

Loved it as a kid.  

The hovering vehicle out of the back blew my mind.

Would have loved a Night Force version of this.  He'll, the guns are already orange!

Came with a super nice Cross Country and file card.  

Definitely one of the lesser desired vehicles.  Its definitely odd with the glass front end, exposed shooter on the top, and orange weapons.

I bought one barge... and it sits unopened in the basement... so... yeah...

A friend of mine just did this for me, I bought a cast head off eBay. He painted the head and claws on hands and feet...before and after pictures...

 

Just picked this up from my friend, if anyone is interested in getting custom figures done painted, contact me for his contact info. For this particular figure the head will be $50, he has tried for Mcfarlane once, he got the figure but did not get hired but damn he does awesome work.

It guarantees them getting the full price of $350, if it was released in retail at that price it would sit on the shelf till if was clearance, that's when I would buy it.

Picked this up yesterday from a junk store.  

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.  Came out when the early waves of Transformers and Joes were out.

Cool idea to have the accessories insertable all over the vehicle.  Even better that they can be swapped with other vehicles.

The comic is my fav.  I've never run across one.  Pretty large compared to MOTU.  Colorful as well.

Nope, not me. I admired the Barge but I don't collect SW at all, so I let it pass.

These Sentinels are pretty awesome, but I think about what $350-$1k (if I bought three of them, which is really what I'd want) would buy me in vintage toys, and I think I'm going to pass. We'll see. The tier awards are pretty neat, I like the little Bastion figure it comes with too, and the master mold head...here I am talking myself into it! ha It may be worth picking up for spec, if I ever decided to sell it I can't imagine I'd take a loss on it.

YES! One of my childhood faves for sure. I don't know why they aren't more popular, they sure were heavily used in the cartoon. Great vehicle.

Man, that's great. So many great toy lines that got buried beneath Joes and Transformers. This is cool!

Picked some of these up at Michaels.  Only $15 on sale.

Supposed to be for photo storage which is perfect at 4" tall for Joes.  With my archival bags, they don't move at all inside.

The smaller cases for inside a larger carrying case.  

Thought others might be interested in it for themselves.   Normally $40.

Sentinel has become the fastest backed campaign since they started their crowdsourcing program.  Congrats and I gave to admit that is a hell of an incentive and definitely promotes buying more than one.

I got busy on the Joes this last week. Bought the blueprints for my 84’ Sears Vamp in a lot. It had an 82 Vamp I was able to rebuild. 
My straight arm Zap had an accident the other week so I got a lot with a bunch of Zaps for the parts I need for one clean one.

Put together a couple stands.

Today's revealed incentive promotes buying more than one even more in battle-damaged parts.  They will almost certainly now create even more damaged parts, and it begs buying more than one to display different Sentinels in varying states of damage.

The original design was three stretch goals, but they said during the presentation there could be more if it did well.  And since it's crushing it, I bet we get a LOT more extensive battle-damaged parts.

I don’t even collect this line and this has my interest.  It looks like they clearly learned a few lessons from Unicron.  I felt that Unicron was very overpriced.  With everything they keep adding into this piece they keep justifying the price.  8200+.  I would expect a slight slowdown but as you said, I also see people ordering extras now that they have revealed these incentives.  I see a few second orders placed. 
 

People are army building $350 sentinels.  What an amazing world.

Unlike Unicron, I’m cheering this one on.
