Metal feet? Check.

Flames are a decal and not painted on? Check.

However, the holes in his hands are pretty small and the guns fit snugly...which I think is a strike against it being G1.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Almost certain it's the 2002 commemorative release, now.

The head makes me think it's something Microman related, but I'm not well-versed in the line so I couldn't say for sure.

What's the country of origin?

I'm almost positive the commemorative is from China. Whereas G1 was Japan and maybe Taiwan.

I'm pretty sure G1s were both metal and plastic. In Series 3, it really became a big cost-saving switch mid-stream.

So I have sorta finished picking up all my GI Joe's from the flea market of my parents basement.... I didn't realize exactly how much I had until now & I'm pretty sure there's at least 1-2 more boxes of them somewhere.

I also spent a number of hours putting things back together to make sure everything is at least 90% complete. It's nothing special but it's a pretty sizable amount IMO. All old 80's & early 90's if I remember correctly.

I'll do you all a favor and spoiler tag the 19 pictures here:

That's Mighty Mac from the early/mid 70's if I remember correctly...not part of the microman/micronauts line but did fit in well as a substitute for biotron

CORRECTION: Mighty Max the Maximum Man from TOMY; there's a couple of them on ebay if you'd like to check them out

We fielded a call about some loose Megos earlier this week and ended up getting these from the same seller. House calls are the best. All of the dolls are factory sealed and case fresh.
