Books you just cant find in the Wild 22 22

Not Invincible 1, but I found some great dollar books today during a big sale for Halloween.  They also had a bunch of 25 cent and 50 cent comics but I didn't even have time to go through those boxes.

 

 Highlights for me include  Punisher Armory 1 and 10,  2 copes of TMNT Adventures 1988 Miniseries 1 (x2) Moon girl Dinosar 1 (1st Moon girl), Batman 609 (1st Hush), Legions 1's appearances, and Moon Knight 24 (a fav cover)

CONGRATS!! @Wolverinex!!!

When I was a kid I had that Wolverine TPB of the 1982 limited series, I thought it was shiznit!!!

I think I even passed up a #1 at the used book store when I was like 9 years old, my mom offered to buy me one or the other, I thought that I was all boss because I chose the one that had the complete story  but I enjoyed it!

I bought a lot of those New Mutants for $1 as well at a blowout at Half Price Books last year, I'd be tempted to offer them in the Christmas package on the boards, if I thought anyone was interested.... I need to be talked into doing that Christmas thing, I don't know how it works  If I got someones list, I don't know how I'd go about being Santa and filling out the list

Thanks Adamantium!   you GOT to do the Holiday Gift thing,   You will love it.  Basically, you will be given a random board member, and you just stalk their posts to see what type of items they like.  Then you just send them a present before Christmas.  It's so FUN!

I know right. That book I have never seen above NM- personally. Very difficult in high grade. I think a 9.8 sold for what
over $300 a few weeks ago.

that was mine. I've purchased multiple copies of that book. I've only found two worth sending in that I thought would hit 9.8, only one of them hit 9.8

Nope.  Moon Girl 1 is a regular (direct) edition.

Newsstand = |||||||||||||||||||| |||||

Direct Edition = |||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||

(The second set of bars is "skinnier" on newsstands)

Just wanted to share my Image newsstand collection.  I actually have even more (like runs of WildCATS, Cyberforce, and Savage Dragon plus several duplicates) but these are the ones out of storage in my main longbox.   Youngblood 1 is the combo breaker obviously.

The Everquest book has a tiny print run. I do believe it was recalled or cancelled almost at beginning. Wishes & Rainbows has always been a mystery to me. It never comes up in discussion groups, so I'm sure it's not hype related

I heard about W&R before but never seen it before.  How did you come across a huge stack of them?

Not to be a party pooper, any potential newsstand editions aside, but other than mayyyybe the Punisher Armory 10, are these really "can't find in the wild" books? With that said, I really like the cover on Moon Knight 24 (and it seems ebay does too as it is now a $15-$20 book rather than the quarter box book it had been for years). We could have an "adventures in the dollar box" thread, that is certainly my cup of tea.

I think because it's Liefeld, and I get the sense that he liked the idea of establishing that there is a big pre-history to the character, and he did that by indicating that it is volume 2, rather than actually having to write a back story.
