Finally found my Feature Book - Maltese Falcon and read it this a.m. -

The interiors are a step above the cover. The interesting part is that for some characters, the depiction is close to that of the movie, for say, Sydney Greenstreet or Peter Lorre, but for others, not at all. I wonder if KFS did not get granted permission for likeness for some actors or could get away with it with the non-lead roles.

My favorite is the two page sequence of the history of the Falcon. Here's the first part in a full-page splash -

All in all, a cool book. Helps to have seen the movie though. The disjointed story telling of the movie boiled down in few comics pages would feel even less comprehensible if you did not know the story.
