Greatest GOLDEN AGE Covers Poll, Round One

This is the first round of a two round, multi-part poll, the final results of which will be published in a forthcoming issue of Heritage's Intelligent Collector.

I voted last night. I've never taken much of a look at GA covers outside of Batman, so I went into it blindly. There were some truly impressive examples there and a nice variety on display as well. I was surprised how dense the action gets on some of those covers. Those Plastic Man covers are pretty clever, too.

Maybe you should pick up a set of the GA Gerber Photo Journals then.

 

The first real and best comprehensive book on GA covers. Definitely where I fell in love with GA and certainly helped me to focus in on the books to acquire, given the limited budget I had at the time.
