DC - Flash Rebirth # 1

Went to my LCS after work and only the variant was left, and every copy had pink ink next to the top staple from the back covers and some had weird printing error lines on it as well. Annoying.

Simple Cameo. IF Godspeed becomes a Super Villain I don't think this is the book people are going to chase. He IS on the Cover of Flash Vol 5 #1 and presumably fleshed out more in that book and the story arc. Also, of note In issue #2, The Flash trains novice speedster August Heart. Will August first appear in #1 too ?

 

I'm not sure Cameo's are broken up into Simple and Complicated. A first Cameo is a cameo nonetheless.

I am not sure everything needs to be corrected .... Unless you really believe I might refer to another cameo as a complicated one ?! Bet the farm on a cameo if you would like.

Very true , we do not know exactly what will happen inside #1 . From solicitation for #1 "Just as Barry begins to feel overwhelmed fighting crime, a new speedster debuts—but just where did this amazing new friend come from?" This sounds more like the new character August Heart ( "friend" not foe). Solicitation from #2 "The Flash trains novice speedster August Heart to help protect the people of Central City from the Black Hole, a new breed of rogue with a deadly agenda for the Fastest Men Alive." is August Heart featured on cover of #2 ? and From #3 "In issue #3, dozens of innocent people mysteriously gain super-speed! But not all are heroic, and it’ll take everything The Flash and August have to harness the lightning before Black Hole does." Is the character referenced as Black Hole actually Godspeed? There is a Black Hole character in the DC universe already. Godspeed is definitely in The Flash Rebirth #1 (cameo) and on the cover of The Flash Vol 5 #1 . Might not even show up until Issue 5? Regardless, Godspeed/ August Heart / the Return of Wally West is all exciting to this fan of the book :-) :banana:

All copies that I looked at were inked pink from the copy lying on top of it. Hope DCBS comes through with some solid books.
