Which ones were they? And what do you call pricey?  The ones I treated myself to above, must have worked out at £30-£40 each with shipping.

Forties and fifties range. Had some Spidey ones and the winter Olympics one if I remember correctly. And one of the Spidey vs Supes ones. There were two versions.

I always looked down on the pence copies as being inferior to their cents counter parts, I wish I had kept them all now, still got a couple though.

They are nice aren't they. I like all treasuries, pence and cents. I posted a link to my pence thread earlier wormboy, listing all the pence treasury editions I've found with a picture of each - here it is again in full :headbang:

I missed this one off as I haven't checked whether it's an official Marvel or DC book - or both, given the title banner!:

Hello @Derrico

I had a go at documenting the full range of Marvel pence priced Treasury sized editions and came up with 23 issues in total. If you're still around, could you check and see if what I have listed is in line with your own copies?

Hope the chart comes out OK, and all 23 pics are below.

Cheers!

Sweeeeeeet! Are they all yours?

Alas, no batmiesta. I did have all the ones with Spidey in back during the completist years, but they were all cents copies. I gathered these images from eBay etc during the pence research. I've done the same for DC, but haven't gotten round to posting them yet.

Looking at your name, is that batmiesta as in Batman, or Bronze Age Treasuries? (thumbsu

Although I like your way of thinking better. Bronze Age Treasuries.hm

Hulk like batmiesta. Batmiesta has cool Hulk avatar. But if batmiesta should start to get 'up to no good', and sully the good name of Hulk, then Hulk will smash! 5a8068419ea34_imageproxy(2).gif.e73897c7ab84a4f179509a7d68d3ac63.gif

Those are all lovely. Now I really want some, especially the Star Wars. Perhaps there are UK websites unknown to me that might have inventory (and ship to the US)?

I've checked the online ones I know - Silveracre, Incognito, Quicksilver etc - and not much to speak of I'm afraid! Those that have them, have cents. I think eBay is your best bet, although high grade are few and far between. No London Fair now until May :p

No worries. Always spread the (pence) love as you go. That's what I say :headbang:

Hey thanks for those links! That seller has some really nice copies.

I guess I didn’t realize I had to go to the UK eBay to look. Other counties pop up in my searches, but these never have? Anyway, I might need to go ahead and pay the $40 shipping to get a nice one (and hope it makes it safe).

You're welcome. They're hard to pack securely, so good luck if you dive in.

Always go to ebay.co.uk when you're looking for UK stuff. Often, sellers stuff that is listed as worldwide postage doesn't show on .com.

Ditto ebay.ca for Canada, ebay.com.au for Australia,  etc.
