Whew! I just got back from taking the Fam to Oahu!

I didn't spend all my loot on the island so I'm ready to pop some tags!

:flipbait:

None of us have a chance finding the cherries with a tanned and rested Wally on the prowl!

If anybody in the area needs cash for the con and has comics to sell leading up to the show, shoot me a message. Our shop is 25 minutes from the Convention  Center and I can be anywhere in the region within a couple of hours with that green stuff people rave about.

Good luck Nik and make sure you get ID and a receipt from whoever you buy from!

I'll be in my same location 612/711. I'm loaded up with 30 brand new 1940's-1980's never seen a show floor long boxes of $2, $3 & $5 comics all in order.

Safe travels everyone.

New Golden Age Atomic Age collection.

I have recently been fortunate enough to pick up around 200 Golden Age/ Atomic Age comics which will be debuting at Heroes Con in Charlotte.  The collection consists primarily of books from the 1950s, and ranges across several genres, including pre-code horror, romance, jungle, war, and a few super-hero books. Stop by the show to check them out. Once I am done with traveling, some of these books will make their way to the website. Many Matt Baker books, ECs, Fiction House, and lots of books from the smaller publishers with many books you just never see.

I also have picked up a big bunch of keys including multiple ASM #129s, Avengers #1,4, FF #1,2, Tales of Suspense #39, 40, GS X_men #1s, 2 X-Men #1s,  ASM #2,4,5, and many many more.

In addition, I have about 100 books coming back from CGC, with Golden Age, Keys, and High grades. There should be something for almost everyone.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the show.

Hotel Room: Check

Driving Co-hort: Check

Cash and Checkbook: Check

Restaurant.com Coupons for local fare: Check

Just have to enter some bids on the Jon Berk stuff this week, otherwise it's off to Heroes early on Thursday.  Too bad I'm not staying until Sunday, as per the usual, but I think I can get everything done in 1.5 days of hard-nosed looking.

Anyone know some facilitators that are accepting mail-ins for signature series books and what their deadlines are? I am trying to figure out if I still have time to send off a book to be signed at Heroes Con! :headbang:

I think Rich Henn's deadline is Wednesday? You might contact him first and check though. I think DScott's is tomorrow so might be too late for him.

any tips or tricks how to walk to center from Hilton? Also I see pre-registration is Thursday for advance ticket purchases, does this seem to work pretty well?

from the Hilton you literally walk South for one block and you are there. Id recommend getting your badge thursday is possible. It can be quite busy on friday when everyone first comes in.
