multiple drivers I know make 6 figures

What parts of the country do they live/drive in?

How many years with the company?

What kind of hours per work week are they putting in?

And I believe an employee of Fed ex is also chimed in this thread

dats true. 14hrs a day, 5 days a week will pull u in that kinda dough, but trust me, u can forget about any sort of a social life (which is why I'm a comic nerd)(No time for chicks) :hi:

What good is money without time? (shrug)

Or chicks. lol

I was actually coming back to post that same thought. haha

yea, but as u get older, the magic V seems much less important than a good high grade superhero book. The superhero book doesn't require u to wine and dine it in order to acquire it and in the end it could cost you your entire collection.

or I'm not old enough to empathize.

lol

I'm in Florida and no idea how many years or how many hours just know I know multiple of them that do

I was not doubting you. I was just asking because I know a guy who is in the market for this kind of gig. But not sure if he drives the big rigs i.e. like the Fed Ex Ground big rigs vs. the delivery route trucks. I would venture to guess the fed ex big rig drivers make more money but that is just a guess.

I can't tell in your sigline, is that Supes throwing Zod, as in the original, or has that been altered to Bats?

Actually throwing Zod as in the original which still ranks in my top 5 of all time favorite movies. Did you like any particular one of those 70s Supes or not your cup of tea?

I tell myself that on a daily basis, but trust me, it aint easy to walk away from albeit its tempting at times. The divorce rate is also pretty high as you'd imagine.

Just saw this before my other reply. When you have the opportunity to make this type of coin...when its right there in front of you and all you have to do is go through the motions.......I have the type of personality where it would be hard not do it like R.B. as well.

You can always pull back on the hours in the future. Meanwhile in the now, pack away as much money as you can. You should absolutely be maxing out your QRP or PSP account. Kudos to you.

Oh Btw do you mind me asking is there a big difference in pay for the big rig Ground truck drivers vs. say the local route truck delivery driver's gigs? Thanks.

I can only speak for the doubles drivers, but I can't imagine package drivers making lousy money, but again I can't speak for them.

I was 6 when Superman came out. My brother was 7. It was capes for years around the house.

Superman 2 is quite possibly the finest hero/villain showdown in the history of superheroes.

Plus: "kneel before Zod."

Does it get any better?

Only Batman (1989).

We are about the same age so I would concur 100% with everything you said. We were quite lucky to get to watch this movie on the big screen in real time.

You are spot on this being the finest hero/villain showdown, Zod, etc. Also seeing Superman become mortal on the big screen was really quite something and of course you can not forget the diner scene(s).

In terms of movie sequels I really think you could strongly argue this Supes 2 being one of the greatest "part II" of any movie series from any genre, other than possibly ESB.

I would imagine there is a decent difference in the pay for a rig driver vs the local truck guys.

One would require a CDL and the other not. There has to be some financial incentive/advantage to having the CDL.

Both my spouse and I work in film ... up that to 6, sometimes 7 days a week and that's our average work week. The same can be said about that career. However, the people whom I've met that successfully managed to keep their relationships alive tend to be ones who date / marry within that field because they get it. Your average 'normal' working person just doesn't understand why you have to work those hours.
