The Awax 2016 SDCC report

I would spend all day staring at that wall of gems Dale Roberts has, wow.

This is probably a bit of a daft question, but when you're going around a convention as packed as SDCC picking up raw books and the like; what's the best way to make sure they stay as safe as possible. (Open question for anyone here, never been to anything bigger than a Wizard World).

I've always favored trying to bag/board at the table and I use top loaders for the real gems as well as those "Volstor" type cases. But given that my knees are a mess from a youth of wrestling, that weight really starts to add up in the old back pack.

I use a sturdy box (Macbook box is the perfect size) tucked inside a canvas messenger bag. Backpacks are too cumbersome at crowded cons, imo

sorry this is so off topic but you have the most amazing signature collection of books; how long have you been after that modern-ish set?

I do about the same. And the backpack gets heavy. I have a simple one big pouch and one small pouch backpack. Fill the pack with boxes that hold the comics. If I buy toys etc I just lug around the bag they give me when I buy them. I do get tired and my body is beat after 4 days.

There's a group of boardies that :baiting: me because I always complain I can't carry enough.

That is why I secretly insert random porn in all books I buy for them. keep talking fellas.
