I have Planet 42-44 but prefer the cover of Planet 22.  Planet 59 was the first issue that I purchased at a local show.

This came up last night on ebay talked seller into adding a BIN to listing. Not a big fan of the writing but it gives the book some character

Purchased this copy raw from Comicconnect/Metropolis.

Listed as a VF+ on their site, from the picture they had I thought it was close to that and purchased the book. I submitted it last year to CGC. Just once I would like to come out as a winner on the grading game with a book I buy from them.

I have to admit it is my least favorite cover of the entire run. The first copy I purchased was again from Harley Yee who sold the book to me as a VF.

Later the Crippen pedigree came up for sale and in my rather futile attempt to collect one book from all the pedigrees I purchased it so I currently have 2 copies. While the Crippen book is a technical higher grade the colors of the first book are outstanding.

46 is really my least favorite... to be honest I only bought this one to finish the run and I didn't want it to be the LAST one.

I would like it more if she was not so broad backed, but I prefer this one to 47 even though that woman's clothes evoke more damsel vibes than this strong broad!

I am also of the opinion that the cover for 46 is not good.  I thought at one point someone had shared a picture of an earlier draft where the roles were reversed, suggesting that maybe the shoulders look strange because they were originally drawn for a man.  I don’t know if that’s true but it seems plausible. 

The interior has some nice art though.

the legs as well! But the face is perfectly female, if a bit stilted.

I am divided on the 46 cover.  I get that the woman looks odd.  But I always thought it was cool how it inverted the standard cover of the man saving the woman, and this guy is even hog tied!  There is also a lot of variability in that orange background.  Still pretty low on the overall ranking though.  And figured I'd get 47 done too.  Reminds me a lot of 37/38 with the big t-rex style monsters, but I much prefer 38.  And Tim, you have an amazing collection!  Glad you figured out posting, they are great to see!

I am actually pretty fond of 47, mostly because of the fur lined clothes to fend off the cold of space. Very stylish!
