Great stuff so far.  Love those deep reds on the 54.  Was never able to close the deal on a truly red one (hat tip chevalmeow!) but still pretty happy with this one.

And the 55.  Agree that this one is most likely of any Planets to have some Baker work on the cover.  Might possibly be he inked it or did a collaboration with Doolin to put the girl in (I have a Crown comics 5 that is supposedly a Baker/Feldstein job so it has happened before)?  Particularly the detail in her hair, just seems so distinctive and also different from most Doolin women.  I guess we'll never know, could just be wishful thinking...

I agree, she really doesn’t look like a Doolin girl to me, much more like Baker.

I also love the Jumbo 10 cover inspiration.

As I recall, some of the mid-numbers underperformed. #66 went through the roof, and I missed out on it - but also on some of those mid-number books because I held onto funds for later numbers. #66 was the only one I really wanted that I didn't get though, so cant complain.

For the record, I managed to land your #23, #29, #48, #49, #53, #55 and #58. (The #48 was in a weekly auction  just after the big one though.) Probably the most satisfaction I ever got from a single auction.

I have had a few copies, I have been looking for one with nice colors and while the auctions I had won appeared to have great colors, in hand it is not so much.
