Gene is also a walking encyclopedia of comics, I am pretty sure he will be at Baltimore, he always does the monthly Shoff Shows here in the DC area, if any of you are quasi local and have not done the Tysons or Annandale shows they are pretty good.

Gene is interesting to talk to and friendly.  I've seen him at several Philadelphia shows.  He is All American Comics isn't he?

He is indeed and that is a good representation of his wall.

Oh well, it is a keeper.

Sure is. It seems really tough to find with deep colors, and the blue tends to fade. This was actually the first rivet run Planet I ever bought, and I haven't managed to find a better colored one in all those years.

My copy of Planet 19 is pretty beat up.  I placed a facsimile copy of the cover under the original to hold the whole thing together.  Easily removed if you are anti-restoration.

Planet 55 is from Dave Anderson's collection and the table was at Red Fury's house.

arguably my favorite Planet. I have the 6.5 Nicholas Cage copy.

Great looking #6! I'm a proud new member of the club with my recent Larson copy.

Karl, that is one really spectacular copy. The cover screams like a technicolor hallucination shooting through the blue sky.

Something like that anyway.

You guys got me whipped, my Planet 6 is a water-damaged bit of a wreck from HA.

Can't compare to the high graders here but I added this one to my Planet collection.  Have always liked this cover

And as I was digging through some of my pulps, I thought I would post this here as a nod to the comic - it has a great cover, imo -

And if there is any interest in that Gardner Fox story featured on the cover - here is the intro illustration and pages
