With the Shang-Chi movie coming up and the surge in the MOKF comic title, I am surprised that the Deadly hands of Kung-Fu magazines have not increased more. They are much more difficult to find in high grade than the comic and feature some great first appearances of characters (1st White Tiger, 1st Jack of Hearts) as well as some awesome covers.

I think the smart one will prove to be the gentleman who purchased the book. 10 years from now I'm seeing three times what this one went for. If we look at GPA it becomes clear that the book has been fetching strong prices with scant offerings for several years now. For the record, he offered full ask with the possibility of time payments. I will definitely miss that book, and if it is returned for a refund I'll share that update as well. I don't expect to find another that nice again... at least one I can afford. GOD BLESS...

I think you're completely right.  Look at what people are paying for modern variants because they think the cover art is cool.  These magazines feature cover art by Frank Frazetta (the greatest fantasy artist of all time), printed for the first time in publication and they're 50 years old!  By contrast, modern variants don't even come close and these magazines are all severely undervalued.

As someone who has been monitoring a few of the Mags for about a year now without dipping the toe (because every time I start another collection, it's a bad disease) I have to say I wish I dipped the toe when I started monitoring! I just manned up for an Eerie 23 that looked decent because, as jimbo said, there's scant offerings in the last year.

I am truly happy that I started collecting Warren mags. 12 years ago. I've got myself an early start on these.
