I waited too long getting more of those Xela before the prices took off.

Here's one of my favorites -

I've always loved the colors from this underwater Xela cover! :cloud9:

Next to the Startling 49, what would board members say are the next highest demand Xela airbrushed covers? hm

Startling 47, 48, and Wonder 15 are likely the hottest. Prices of Startling 47 & 48 have recently been close to those of Wonder 15 grade for grade, which is crazy to me. :o

Still in my possession, but on its way to a friend soon.

The Schom/Xela covers are definitely one of the best things about the golden age. I had a gorgeous Wonder 13- a raw 9.0. When I traded that to a friend (because of my Phantom Lady obsession) something in me died and I decided to hold off on going any further with those covers. At this point Wonder 13 (girls and rockets ;)) is the only one I will have after sending this Wonder 15 down the road. I have every intention to wait for the next market dip and start building them back up :taptaptap:

Rick,

Is that Jimbo's old copy that he sold off in March?

What an awesome book!

Yes, it is, sir. I made a deal to sell it but have some regrets ???

Honestly, I think I regret selling almost every book I have sold :screwy:

I regret NOT pulling the trigger on that one the night I saw Jimbo had it for sale. I remember it very well. It was the same night I found out about the AC1 in 0.5 and as much as I wanted Jimbo's Wonder 15, I knew I already had a copy and needed to keep every $ I had available to try and snag the grail.

Unfortunately, I ended up coming up dry on the AC1 and in the meanwhile, lost out on a really nice Wonder 15. Bad couple of days all the way around.

Oh well, I am glad that you got to enjoy it for awhile and my guess is that you are sending it off to a good home.
