My mummy's more hip than your mummy.Blasting the Huns and MDC mix before heading to Rauls.

(I think this comic made it through a few hardcore shows )

Was going through the CC auction for this week and it looks like it's going to be an absolutely field day for all of the Frankenstein collectors out there.  :gossip:

Strongly doubt that this hardly ever comes around very often, but it looks like a near complete run of high end Frankenstein Comics are available from issue #1 right through to the final issue #33, including the U.K. editions for a few of the really early issues.  The only exceptions being Frankenstein issues #18 and #20 which are probably being retained by the astute consignor of this absolutely gorgeous run.  :luhv:

I somehow think this Frankenstein run is going to set off some major fireworks during the 3-minute extended bidding sessions which are bound to follow, especially considering the fact that several of these copies are the highest graded copies or 2nd highest graded copies according to the population census report.  I guess it's just a matter of waiting and watching.  :taptaptap:  :flipbait:

I'm winning the Frankenstein #1

I rarely find horror books I need anymore. But was happy to pick this one up from our very own Ricksneatstuff right here on the boards. A highly recommended person to deal with!

Quite a cool issue from ACG. Most of these usually aren’t all that great, but this one is quite good cover to cover.

IMHO, this particular issue was the very best ACG put out; none of the stories had happy endings, and they were all right up there with some of the best.

I would agree. Same with most of the other issues of this title as well as Skeleton Hand. The best of the ACG horror stuff.

I keep pecking off this title so when I can get a decent reader cheap I grab it. Coming up on a complete pre-code run of this one...

What is that like 40 something books?  Thats quite a run.

I've got a bunch, but none from 1-10, just can't find any desireable reader copies that don't look like they're on the verge of disintegration!

He would need to do the first 61 issues for a full pre-code run.  I've got most of them, starting with about #19.

It will be 25 years ago a week from tomorrow that Don Heck passed away! How time flies. Remembering Heck with what I consider his greatest Atomic Age of Comics cover.

Such a beautiful copy with great rich greens on the cover. It seems like a lot of copies of Horrific 3 ended up with brownish, copper toning on the cover due to aging. Thank you for sharing :applause:
