I think we've all learned enough about comic film/tv series casting to know that this won't be an all 'white chick' casting. Harley will be white...but the other two won't be...

:wishluck: Halle Berry?

Actually my money is on Hispanic Poison Ivy.

Unless they can get the Quantico lady for Catwoman

Margot Robbie Spotted Reading This Harley Quinn Comic Book

vbPmb8K.png

Margot Robbie was photographed reading a comic book at LAX airport (Los Angeles, California) on Tuesday, November 15. The photo has recently received quite a bit of attention as online sleuths have been trying to determine which comic had her full and undivided attention.

Thanks to ArkOrb, an eagle-eyed Reddit user, we know that Robbie was flipping through Harley Quinn Vol 3. Kiss Kiss Bang Stab — which collects Harley Quinn (2013) #14-16, ANNUAL #1, Harley Quinn: Holiday Special (2014), and Harley Quinn: Valentine's Day Special (2015). Written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. Art by Chad Hardin, John Timms, Stjepan Sejic, Joe Quinones, Ben Caldwell, Kelley Jones, Aaron Campbell, Darwyn Cooke, Alain Mauricet and Brandt Peters.

And to be even more specific, Robbie was scanning page 34 of the Valentine's Day Special. That story, which is titled “Just Batty Over You,” involves Harley Quinn robbing from a crooked, greedy Wall Street banker and using those funds to win a date with millionaire bachelor Bruce Wayne — who auctioned himself off to raise money for an animal shelter. It features two fun and humorous dream sequences. Harley dreams of being married to Mistah Wayne. It starts off great and lovey dovey, but she literally shoots him down when he tries to convince her to become a one-woman baby-making factory. Bruce also dreams (hallucinates!) of being married to Harley. It too starts off swell (not for Alfred!), but he has to use every trick in the book to keep her content.

Not the first time she has hinted at wanting the Poison Ivy role.

Gotham City Sirens: Bryce Dallas Howard Interested In Playing Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy has been brought to the big screen once before. She was portrayed by Uma Thurman in Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin. Who will follow in Thurman’s footsteps? It seems like Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard may be up for the job.

A fan asked Howard if she’d ever be interested in playing Poison Ivy. Howard responded with a GIF of Thurman’s Poison Ivy giving a wink to the dynamic duo and a message stating, “She’s pretty badass.”

She would be an interesting choice. I think the Ivy, Catwoman and Batgirl roles will be highly sought after as they will lead to appearances across multiple films/franchises. If you are an actor/actress the Marvel and DC comic movies are a great opportunity to land a role that will generate the large paydays to sustain your lifestyle while also allowing you to do other films that appeal to your artistic side.

I've never understood the hate for Megan Fox.

Woman is gorgeous

My hate for Megan Fox is that she's a horrible actress.

The Jonah Hex movie had _many_ problems, but Megan Fox's acting was near the top of the list.

Who would have though she wouldn't even come off believable as a hooker??

Even in that role, she was beyond horrible.

Could Eiza Gonzalez Be Joining The DCEU As Catwoman?

Quote

In Gonzalez's recent Instagram Story, which you can see stills of below, she is seen in a black jumpsuit, which she describes as the "uniform" she has been wearing lately.

While this could just be the Gonzalez showing off her personal choice of wardrobe, the attire does bear a striking resemblance to the suit worn by Selina Kyle/Catwoman throughout the DC Comics lore.

Rumors circulated in December of 2016 that the actress was sought out for the role of Catwoman, after fans discovered that Gonzalez was following - and being followed by - both DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns, and Gotham City Sirens director David Ayer. Since then, the actress has followed even more creative forces behind the DCEU, including Wonder Woman's Patty Jenkins and Batgirl's Joss Whedon.

:p

Looking forward to seeing a gorgeous girl with red hair and pale white skin wrapped in ivy.

But yes, it is likely that all the characters will be different ethnicities and they will all be wearing black leather jackets and have on sunglasses.

Margot Robbie is an Australian trying to do "crazy" in a Staten Island accent. It's going to be a little off. To put things into perspective, it's not as bad a Sean Connery in The Untouchables. That is the benchmark for bad accents.

I cast a vote for Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as the worst accent. At first he tried an English accent, that by the middle of the film had completely been tossed in favor of his regular drawl.

David Ayer Reveals Why He's Doing Gotham City Sirens Instead Of Suicide Squad 2

Quote

While talks of a [Suicide Squad] sequel have occurred for quite some time, Ayer himself has not been attached to the project - instead focusing his DCEU efforts on Gotham City Sirens. And according to the director, there's a very good reason for that.

"It's a story about three fantastic women," Ayer explained in a recent interview with IGN during San Diego Comic-Con, "who're trying to find their way in the world, and realize that they have more power together than they do individually." He added, "I have daughters, and I want to create something that might be able to help them get along in the world a little bit."

With Ayer speaking so optimistically about Gotham City Sirens, here's hoping that some news about the film will be unveiled during Warner Bros. Films panel this Saturday.

If true, no wonder why this didn't get announced just yet.

John Krasinski Rumored For Green Arrow Birds of Prey Movie; Replacing Gotham City Sirens

A new batch of rumors has hit the net surrounding the Gotham City Sirens movie.

This rumor has been posted to the DCEUleaks subreddit, which interestingly enough was posted prior to the earlier news of the Gotham City Sirens movie possibly not happening, which saw director David Ayer slam WB at Comic-Con and call Suicide Squad BS, in addition to it being said Gotham City Sirens was never green lit in the first place.

Highlights from the rumor include the Gotham City Sirens movie is getting replaced by a Birds of Prey movie. WB is said to not be happy with Ayer's vision for Gotham City Sirens because it is focused on Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, with the other characters taking a back seat. WB is said to want Catwoman and Poison Ivy as stars as well.

what this "announcement" says to me is there is more confusion, lack of direction and no commitment from DC/ Warner Brothers. This has plagued them from the beginning.

Prior to Geoff Johns taking over, there existed confusion. Now that he stepped in May last year, he is more actively driving direction. Including prioritizing an extensive small and large screen roadmap.

Even when Marvel was initially planning its roadmap, it had Cable and others listed before it even researched movie rights. Silver Surfer too. Change and confusion happens.
