Warren Magazine Appreciation - Cover & Story Favorites

I'm starting to suspect the charcoaled photocopy was done to make a deadline, not with any artistic intent.

There are many Gonzalez panels that I think started as photos and I'm finding blogs like this one about swiping that says the studio/agency the Spanish artists worked for had a photo studio that produced photos for reference by the artists: http://averycreepyblog.blogspot.com/2013/08/warren-swipes-part-2.html?m=1

I'm going to guess that the odd layouts are Gonzalez going fast, not really thought out.

All of the Gonzalez automobiles and some of the planes are inked-over photos (IMO).  Some of his panels look like they are mostly photo with some drawing/inking, like this splash from Vampirella 34:

@oakman29 Have you ever seen the UK editions of Eerie magazine, Marwood would be proud they have a more solid cover of heavy card. They also have some nice covers and I think they only ran for four issues, enjoy.(thumbsu

I thought that would catch your eye Steve, the UK variants only lasted a few issues but in my opinion they were made of sturdier card covers and seemed more professional than the Warren copies. They also featured different interiors from the later Warren run, as I'm not an expert I can't tell you which issues only that I liked them. Maybe Oak could tell us.(thumbsu

Where these before or after the 4-issue run of Vampirella?  Where they also from IPC?  Did they also have color interiors?

They were published by a company called Gold Star Publications UK (GSP) and from what I can remember no colour interiors, as for the Vampirella magazines I know nothing about them.(thumbsu
