The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary with a Two Day event on JANUARY 7-8, 2017. Started as a monthly show in 1977, the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION features Special Guests from Comic Books, Film, Television, Animation, Special Effects Creators and a large Dealers Room full of Comic Books and Collectibles. Special Guests through the years include the Creator of BATMAN Bob Kane, SUPERMAN Co-Creator Joe Shuster, FANTASTIC FOUR, HULK, X-MEN, THOR Co-Creator Jack Kirby, Special Effects Creators Ray Harryhausen and Stan Winston, Director James Cameron (with the First Presentation on The Terminator), Tim Burton, Sam Raimi, Joss Whedon, Guillermo Del Toro, Roger Corman, John Woo, Zack Snyder, Animators such as Bill Hanna of Hanna-Barbera and Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy, early Presentations on films such as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Ghostbusters, A Nightmare on Elm Street films, Aliens, Back to the Future, Blade Runner, Batman, Robocop, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and The Matrix, performers such as Christian Bale, David Boreanaz, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gary Oldman, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Danai Gurira, Kirsten Stewart, Jackie Chan and Vin Diesel. The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION has obtained the Los Angeles Premiere of ULTRAMAN X THE MOVIE and ULTRAMAN GINGA S THE MOVIE, a great Double Feature for fans of Ultraman! These are the US versions by Writer/Producer/Director William Winckler, who is also the voice of Ultraman X. William Winckler will appear to discuss the making of Ultraman X The Movie before the screening and have behind the scenes footage of how a voice acting session is done. Ultraman X The Movie and Ultraman Ginga S The Movie screen in The Cloud Room located to the far right once you get off the elevators and enter the Dealer Room floor.

When reality TV host Carlos Kurozaki breaks into a mysterious underground pyramid for a television event, he removes a special gem…and unwittingly releases a diabolical monster called Zaigorg! The evil creature wants Kurozaki’s gem, so it spawns an army of giant kaijus get it! It’s up to the famous superheroes Ultraman X, Ultraman Tiga, and the one and only original Ultraman to stop the worldwide monster war!

 

ULTRAMAN X THE MOVIE is the special 50th Year Anniversary film of Tsuburaya Productions iconic superhero character ULTRAMAN.
