Woops, my mistake. I confused Solar Boy for Solar Cadet. They are both from Los Angeles and have a similar posting style when degrading other board members so I mixed them up.

To the CGC Board Members, their family and friends:

Our family is overwhelmed with happiness behind the love, support, encouragement and generosity of the CGC board members and their families. The kindness that was shown to our family was unbelievably heartwarming and well beyond our expectations. We never would imagine that so many people whom I have never met in person or had little interaction with have been both so supportive and generous. Particularly there are members with whom I have exchanged opposing ideas (sometimes in an unfriendly manner) that stepped forward and put it aside to help my family and I. I am floored by the kindness of the people here and am proud to be a member of this community.

2. a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

The members here aren't just brothers/sisters in arms with collectibles, we are truly a community of people supporting people and I couldn't be more honored to be here.

I want to extend a special thank you to Dave, Bryan and Sharon. Without them none of this would have been possible and the additional hours they spent (during the holidays) to move this thread (and the others) forward is amazing. You are truly the some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you so very much!

Health update: I am very lucky at this point to still be able to live at home while waiting for a heart, there are many who cannot leave the hospital. My condition is "stable" for the most part right now and am patiently waiting for the "call." My doctors informed me that due to my size (I am a tall/large man) and my blood type (O-) matching me will prove a longer process than average. This means it could be awhile before I receive a transplant. The unfortunate truth of the matter is that someone has to pass away for me to get a second chance at a full life - so whenever it comes it will be with both sorrow and joy.

I will continue to participate on the boards as I feel up to it and will be happy to answer anyone's questions. Additionally my wife will be providing updates via the HelpHOPELive website on my individual page so that everyone will see our progress up to and through a successful heart transplant.

Your generosity is truly touching and we are very thankful that when the day comes, we have funds available to help with medical costs.

From the bottom of our hearts - Thank you.
