Loved everything I ever read from this series, but much of it is gone now. So I recently bought several large chunks of an estate collection and among the items I grabbed was a complete set of TOD Marvel Essentials. Looking forward to a few nights' binge.

Colan's art, being Gothic and heavily-shaded, looks great in black-and-white.

One of my favourite Essentials series.

I figured B&W would be safe in this case for that reason.....just like the 70's Marvel monster mags!(thumbsu

Colan's work is fabulous in b&w. Better than in color, imo.

Took me 3 years to complete the run in high grade back in the day...alas all gone now. But a great series w solid writing and art. Does a new series today even go 70 issues?

One of the Essential volumes also reprinted the Dracula b/w magazine stories as well.

I'm just glad you considered it, and I certainly understand. If you ever do want to let them go, please let me know. I do want them. Hopefully we could work something out.
