Amazing man 10

One of the better issues imo. Chocked full of goodness

Everett cover and story

Joe Simon

Carl Burgos

Filchock

Glanzman

Frank Thomas.

This is actually Sam Glanzman's first published work, cover dated March 1940, and Sam is happily still with us. Does anyone know of another living creator whose work goes back that far? Sam may be the winner in that regard.

Very close. I think Lubbers first work was Amazing Man #12.

Amazing Man 11...

this issue contains the last cover and interior art by Bill Everett on this title

I like the simplistic nature of this cover, line work and color scheme, but I always struggle with the idea it is Everett.

It is definitely penciled by Everett as that pose is very typical of him as is the girl in the background. The inking is rather crude and I rather wonder whether someone else was involved, though that would be very unusual for him.

I was going to same the exact same thing about the girl in the background :)

But yeah, the inking is awfully heavyhanded for him, look at that right hand for example.

I think johnny is on to something, but also think everett was definitely involved

Amazing man 14

These middle issues are generally more "generic" John Aman stories. They do feather Glanzman and a Frank Thomas story, but overall, they are my least favorite post Everett issues...they generally are more readily available in the market.
