I have a good number of the issues of High Adventure. I tried ONCE (and only ONCE) to read a Ki-Gor story … it didn't go well and I quit midway … Horrible … still didn't stop me from buying the pulp

Yes lots of inspiration, shall we say... I have seen lots of them across the FH titles (same publisher between the comics and pulps).  I would like to put together a reference.  I think it would be cool to own the pulps and comics of similar or swiped covers.  The pulp below is not mine, btw.

Is there anything like remotely like the Gerber guide for pulps?  I know mycomicshop at least seems to have images for a lot of pulps too.

Boardie @Bookery has written a price guide for pulps. I don’t know if it has images.

No images in the Bookery Guide apart from 10 pages of 9 images each in the middle of the book.

The Adventure House Checklist by Ellis, Locke and Gunnison has sample images at the top of the page, OSPG-style but the format is small.

The easiest resource to use is Galactic Central - Fiction Mags; here for pulps http://philsp.com/lists/p_magazines.html

and specifically here for Jungle Stories - http://philsp.com/mags/jungle_stories.html

Time permitting, I'll take a stab at a pulp - comic covers concordance. I don't recall seeing one. The article in CBM, # 57 IIRC, on FH pulps shows some of these covers but no checklist. This should be a small fun project.

Awesome! And if you want to tackle the Fox Comics pulp cover swipes some other snowy weekend there are a ton of those too. Virtually every character on the 1940-1941 Joe Simon covers seems to have a pulp cover source somewhere (sorry Joe).
