Guess this is the end of this topic and the 7-year tradition. It was fun while it lasted, but back in 2011 we had 15-20 members participating, I guess I'm the last one left, so I'll turn off the lights.

total for 2017 is 1305 comics read.

By far the lowest amount of comics I've read in a year in a long time, I must have been crazy back in 2013 :insane:

I'll still continue reading comics and lots of them, and will be keeping track, but I won't be posting the details any more either in the new year, it was a great idea and it motivated me to read  14292 comics over a period of 7 years, but it has run it's course.

By far the lowest amount of comics I've read in a year in a long time, I must have been crazy back in 2013 :insane:

I'll still continue reading comics and lots of them, and will be keeping track, but I won't be posting the details any more either in the new year, it was a great idea and it motivated me to read  14292 comics over a period of 7 years, but it has run it's course.

I cataloged everything I've read again this year. I just added it up for you :foryou:

Total so far this year: 1,852 comics [Count is debatable as I count a manga collection / volume as about 7 comics, which is true page-count wise but not reading time-wise]

The breakdown is again tilted Manga for the 3rd year in a row:

Manga - 57% (or 152 volumes)

U.S. Comics [Mainstream] - 20% (or 379 issues)

European Comics - 11% (it was exactly 100 albums)

Independent / Youth Reader / International Indy-ish Collections - 11% (Thanks public library!)
