ivdyer Posted March 8, 2017 Share Posted March 8, 2017 Here is one more from Ash Gonzales, a friend and talented artist. Mainly working on large canvases he has started doing sketch covers. ivdyer Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Thank you! I knew they were both appearing at Alamo City and wanted to kill two birds with one stone. The Vampirella cover was my idea as it seems the obvious choice for Kristi as she was the original Buffy. Mena, however, was a different story. Thought about American beauty bathtub scene on the back but Ash wanted to carry the theme across the covers and the rest is history. I was thrilled with the way it turned out and Mena liked the idea.
