CLOSED - LOOK Magazine - 1940 volume of ALL issues incl Superman, etc

This is a home bound volume of all Look Magazines from 1940. It looks like the method for "binding" was for the consumer to attach a wire (part of the binder) across the centerfold of the magazine thus securing it with a clip at the bottom. So the magazines are not altered. This was a typical method of accumulating several magazines in a book type format in a binder that was supplied by the publisher.

 

All the bi-weekly 1940 issues of Look are included. The February issues are important as they contain articles on Milt Caniff's Terry and the Pirates and Siegel and Shuster's Superman. Issues have wear but are in overall VG condition. Great ads, etc throughout all issues. But the Superman issue with Rita Hayworth on the cover in particular is highly sought after by GA comic fans.
