I had a similar experience to the ASM #2 you subbed. Iron Man #7 that I thought was easy 9.4 with upside structurally came back 7.0 because of inside cover tanning.

Never got so lucky before whereby a raw SA Marvel at 8.5 gets massaged to a Cgc 9.6, and a raw SA DC key at 6.0 gets 'massaged' to a Cgc 9.0. :golfclap:

Although I didn't introduce myself, I want to thank a few of you for helping me fill in some gaps in my Wolverine runs.

It was a superior (over the past shows) expo, and I added a few new sigs to my collection as well. I was going to introduce myself but ya'll were so darned busy at the time I dropped by. 

Maybe next year I will try to get a table at the Red&White in Calgary. Sell off everything but my faves.

Hopefully, these freshly graded books are still owned by you and not by somebody who had purchased them off you and then submitted them to CGC for grading.  :wishluck:

If they are still yours, congrats on some wonderful graded books, qespecially with respect to the AF 15, ASM 14, and the TOS 39.  (thumbsu

At the rate which AF 15 prices have been going, it's quite conceivable that your copy of AF 15 could put more money in your pocket that what Magik was able to get from his much higher graded copy last summer.  :whatthe:  :flipbait:

Sorry, no scans. Some of the slabs being picked up from Chicago Wizard :) con in person; some being shipped back to Canada; some being consigned promptly for no reserve auction on East coast, USA.

Smart move as it's much wiser to pay only 10% to either of the 2 big auction houses on the East Coast as opposed to trying to negotiate down from 30% with the other auction house.  (thumbsu

Especially in the case of a book such as AF 15 where it's been the 2 East Coast auction houses that have been setting all of the record prices with almost every new offering.  Best of luck to you in your consignments.  :wishluck:
