I bought 11 comics off a guy on ebay who lives in Canada. He has emailed me to say that the total to post all comics via UPS would cost $27.00. Now this seems a little steep to me. or maybe i am being niave. But could one of you canadian board members please tell me if this guy is tryign to take me for a ride or not? if it helps the guys user id is "padsanda".

Boxed airmail shipping to the UK will cost around $24 Canadian as long at it's below 1 kg in weight. Given the current exchange rate, it's around $19 US.

 

However, if he is shipping the books via UPS, the price seems reasonable. You'll get screwed over on brokerage charges on your end however so keep that in mind!
