Yeah you guys are right. I was a shiller on eBay until recently. (Emphasis on was though) I know it was wrong and ti makes me a scumbag etc. I will say though i have learned my lesson. Ebay cancelled my account and i recieved several emails from them. I contacted the seller of the plate and am currently offering him a refuned of the extra he had to pay for the plate. Im really sorry about this guys and am utterly ashamed of myself. Ive got a feeling im going to be leavign the boards nwo though as i am under no doubt i will chased off of here with pitchforks and the like. Or i'll probably just hang around and read posts. Heh. Sorry guys, and it was nice chatting to you. If it all doesnt seem to bad i may post here and there. We'll see how things go.

I bought 11 comics off a guy on ebay who lives in Canada. He has emailed me to say that the total to post all comics via UPS would cost $27.00. Now this seems a little steep to me. or maybe i am being niave. But could one of you canadian board members please tell me if this guy is tryign to take me for a ride or not? if it helps the guys user id is "padsanda".
Boxed airmail shipping to the UK will cost around $24 Canadian as long at it's below 1 kg in weight. Given the current exchange rate, it's around $19 US.

 

However, if he is shipping the books via UPS, the price seems reasonable. You'll get screwed over on brokerage charges on your end however so keep that in mind!

I will also lastly add a plea of being able to stay here. I will be honest with you. If ebay had not caught me and canceled my account etc (though i dont get why they didnt cancel my other?) i may still be doing this, who knows. But i guess it takes being caught for me to realise. I have alot of contacting with alot of buyers to do Well the ones who paid since im still waiting for payments from half of them! The rest i'll just imnform them not to pay or offer it for the lowest price they were paying. Anyway, on to the plea. I just want to ask to stay on the boards guys. i do enjoy it here and i do learn alot about comics than i ever knew before. I have made a few friends, who no doubt i have just now lost, which i understand. I will understand though if you want rid of me, start a poll or whatever takes your fancy. Just let me know. I just want you guys to know i am ashamed of myself.
