The slabs are not gas tight so that doesn't sound right. Also they use Argon in gas stored items and Argon does not deteriorate.

CGC uses Lords of the Rings Gas?  Does it range around in the holder looking for Mordor?  Does Sauron gas work just as well?  Inquiring minds want to know.

If I had an Action Comics #1, a Wonder Woman #1 or any other comics that had a value of $50,000 or more, I would actually consider re-slabbing every 7 or so years. For every other comic on the market....well, thanks but no thanks CGC. There are FAR better things for me to spend my money on than re-slabbing my comics. I am perfectly ok with the level of degradation that will occur with my slabbed comics during my lifetime.
