Not sure, but it looks like it reforms to .44MB, and then you can still click and blow up?

I just tried uploading one that was 677kb and it was not allowed.

Looks like this was just under the size limit at 400kb

Had the same problem. I just emailed the picture to myself from my phone at a smaller size and saved that one.
