Berkeley Comic Con June 3rd. Mark your calendars! 1 1

Our back-issue-only, comics-only event returns on the first Saturday of June. We have eleven comic vendors, including board members HarvDoss, CW, and HOC. We have longtime local con mainstays Dale Quick and Ray Storch and strong newcomer Bronze Age Batcave.  We also have modern comics expert Brian Wells (Comic Web).

 

The con is put on by myself and board member Wormboy, with other great local board members helping out immensely.  Board legend sckao designed a killer website that has all the info, as well as our innovative wantlist feature:

I'd say this show averages 60-65% vintage comics and the rest modern and dollar books. Usually around 11 comic dealers.

More like two weeks later.  The local con calendar is very crowded in Sept. and Oct.

That would be awesome.  I'm not 100% sure you are from Michigan but I always assume you are with that avatar (I'm from near Kalamazoo and almost went to U-M).

Four new dealers with very fresh stock at the June show, plus I'm working down my backlog of books so I'll be adding a lot.  HarvDoss has been on a buying tear lately (such as Hulk 102-400, Strange Adventures 1-215, etc. etc.) so it's going to be a good show.  Wormboy is going to have $25 slabs and $5 trades.

You'll make it someday for one of our summer shows, I bet.

It's going well. The two shows we did last year were very fun. I expect 15 board members minimum at the June one.
