I've seen a pence FF1 & 3 and for some reason a few different  6ers but I've never seen a 2 before. 

The only two, pence copies I have from my recently completed Surfer run. The #12 is probably the best condition SA (pushing it a bit) book I own.

I've found only 8 pence Surfers - numbers 11 to 18:

I've had raw SS 13 & 14. Sold them when I upgraded.

The only CGC slab I've ever had was an 8.0 pence #14 as well. Sadly, you'll have to take my word on that one. I sold it over a year ago and can't find any scans of it. On the census it was listed as the joint highest pence copy, not hard to do I suppose with the relative scarcity of those copies.

I believe you Harry. Being an ex Spidey completist I used to have a pence SS 14 too, but it was a raw copy. Nice condition as I recall. I've got thousands of pictures of everything I used to own but lost all my appearance scans alas.

It do! I got the image from Heritage which, despite being a US based company, is a great resource for high quality pence images. Many of the scans in my pence inventory came from their site.

Are you a pence collector then @woowoo ? The X-Men #1 is a cracker

First up is the book that forever changed how Marvels were displayed in the newsagents. In my case it was probably attached to a lawn strimmer first.
