Afternoon :)

The Kid popped in today. Well, ages ago actually but I've only just gotten around to assimilating him

That's the wrong Borg isn't it hm

It was TGK 59 to be precise. Isn't he lovely, made from love:

Nice splash isn't it:

Lee, Kirby and Ayers. What a trio. They should've called it the Three-Gun Kid. :headbang::headbang::headbang:

One either side and one in the back pocket.

Here's his temporary tomb.

And his bruddas, 54, 55, 56 and 57...

58 is on a prodigal sabbatical. But he will come. Oh yes, he will come.

Won't he?

Is this from today's negotiations with James?

Fabulous day at the London Comic Fair! :)

If you look closely, you'll see a 10c GW #64 hiding in the picture below. The book is a confirmed Miller, but I don't have my own copy yet:

I haven't opened it yet - bought it blind. Will it have a Miller Filler? :wishluck:

Still a very nice copy... 2c

Cheers Gnash. I like to have a US copy to put with the Miller copy anyway to evidence that both types exist (10c with Miller, 10c without). Just in case some say that all 10c copies have them - as is the case with some Thorpe & Porter indicia books.

Picked up my sixth GW58 the other day. Can't resist them. Another tatty copy of course:

Shame someone at some point added / took off a price sticker and mucked up the otherwise lovely 9d / 6d LM stamp. Oh well.

Here she is with her sisters:

Here's inside:

A nice little 'PRINTED IN THE USA' stamp this time, just to show where she came from (with a nice Stan & Jack above):

I wonder whose job that was? Clerk in charge of stamps. Nice job I bet, in the day.

If only we could find some new ones....

A full set of Rawhide Kid Millers have I now :)

All seven books present and correct - yay!

Here's the updated chart:

2.1.thumb.PNG.cf25b045703dffbb794081b9e20d140d.PNG

19 confirmed of the potential date range 22 - only GW 61, TGK 58 and (the TBC) WE 29 to go.

For reference only, this is what the chart looks like with Kid Colt Outlaw unhidden. Obviously no Millers expected given the confirmed Thorpe & Porters. We'll likely never know why Miller left the Kid out. Maybe he shot his paw:

Come on Wyatt, where are ya.....!

Cheers guys! Nice to get some feedback. The Rawhide's look great don't they, all lined up in their temporary stickered bag tombs. When I finally complete the set, and have updated the summary sheet, they're all going into permanent double mylar tombs with triple boards, labels and everything. When I'm gone, mebbe someone will discover them one day and say "What in the cotton picking name of Kid Colt Outlaw are these varmints?". Mebbe :)

Most of them are cents priced Bob! :makepoint:

But I see your point
