Sadly I think not. All the comics in that picture were burnt. This picture was staged by some local town or other as a prelude to one of the burnings. The kids in this pic may have secretly admired the comic books but they were under intense pressure at the time from schools, religious organizations, parents etc. to demonstrate their dislike and disdain for the comic book...at least the so called 'good kids' were.

Yeah, and I don't think for one minute the kids bought the idea that comics were "bad". I imagine they were bent over double by wanting to be "good kids" and loving those books that ended up on the bonfires.
