Post Your Bernie Wrightson Books

One of the aspects of Wrightson's work I loved is the "flow" of it. Add to that the detail. Plus, the proper amount of "exaggerated " aspects lent such a unique style. I wish he could've done more Batman in his hey day. Imagine the classic Adams Batmans plus some Bernie. I would've loved to see his take on Scarecrow, Joker, Clayface, etc.

Anyone know the story behind this? I bought it at the drug store back in the day. (Need an upgrade... Lol) the date says '72 in his signature. Sadly, not his work inside...

I don't have many scans of many of my Wrightson books, but I do have a handful to share.

I was pretty psyched to finally find a high grade copy of this a few years back.

Back Issue magazine used this for one of their covers recently. I was reproduced to magazine size and looked great.

One of my all time favorites.

I'll see if I can dig out my Jonah Hex #9 tomorrow, I always thought it was cool Bernie did a western cover. Too bad he didn't do one for Weird War Tales.
