Was the language much different than the original letter?

I have heard some things second-hand, but don't want to spread potential misinformation as obviously this is something that should be stated precisely.

That's a great way to approach it.

No one wants to come out guns-a-blazin' on stuff like this.

Indeed. It's why I would love for Heritage to release some kind of public rebuff, or at least let their customers know what their current stance is, until things change necessarily, one way or the other. But I get why we've not heard anything yet.

Is "guns-a-blazin'" a legal term? hm

Yes but we like to state it like this:

"arma decidit flammeum intensum"

We can charge more for it that way.

Hearing that Heritage got a second letter from the Kirby estate's lawyers last week.

Talked to two consignors recently who said that their Kirby art was turned away at CLink.

Make that three.

I offered to consign a Bronze Age Kirby page to Clink at the last NJ Comic Con which they did not want.I walked across the room to Comic Connect and they took the same page.I had a brief discussion with the Comic Connect staff concerning the Kirby situation ,which they were fully aware of , but they were not deterred.I don't know what this means but I was dissapointed  with Clink as I had dealt with them (buying and selling Kirby art ) in the past.

I would be interested if any of the winners of Kirby art from the recent Heritage auction have heard anything out of the norm from Heritage or the Kirby estate.
