I haven't had my graded, but I collect as many carnage comics I can find. Don't really go searching. Is this a 1st print? How come mine has a bar code and not the 30th anniversary?

It's a newsstand.

Yes, it's a Newsstand edition. And a first print.

I  think eventually the newsstands will  be worth more.

Why? Do you really think people are that stupid? It's one thing for people to fall for the Newsstand hucksterism for books that actually have relatively small Newsstand:total ratios, but this book is not one of them.

No, I don't think people are stupid.  I still think Newsstands are more valuable then Direct editions because  it's often harder to find themin better grades since they are bought off at grocery stores, bookstores, etc.    yes, Mr. Highgrade has a million of these, but unusual.  I don't think most people hoard newsstand copies.

What you need to understand is that, when the issue was published, ASM was printing an average of 660,000 copies per issue and selling an average of 545,000 copies per issue. Then you need to realize that this is not an average issue, being a virtual (though probably not actual, technically) sellout. While simplified and not perfectly accurate, that's still 115,000 Newsstand copies of ASM 361 that were most likely purchased by dealers and collectors that didn't frequent the newsstand outlets. mr_highgrade just happens to have shown us some visual evidence of what a single one of those people did.

You have to consider more than just the stupid "Newsstands are superultramegarare!" hype, especially when looking at a specific issue.

So jealous, I had so many Spider-Man and X-Men books from 90-95, including this one, when I was a kid and when I moved out of my mother's house for the Army she threw away 95% of my comics and cards 🤦🏻‍♂️ I'm still mad at her to this day about that.😭
