I think the print runs on some of these 1950s DCs were surprisingly low.  It's still amazing, though, that this far into the CGC era there are fewer than 10 copies graded of some of these mainstream DC titles.

I so rarely see anything I really really want (which means I very rarely get anything new), but I just located and purchased a book I've wanted for a long time.

Hopefully I'll get it by May 1st so I can post it here to commemorate the one year anniversary of when I started this thread.

I have enjoyed looking at this thread, but had not planned to post.

Then after seeing Sharon @skypinkblu post that Flash #34 (nice book), I felt compelled to post my favorite GA Flash; #26.Flash.thumb.jpg.9cad388c53deb7962126471afaaf9055.jpg

At first, I thought it did not make the cut off (as there are 11 copies on the census), however, then I read the OP's post and saw that we are only counting "unrestored copies" and so I made the cut off....

This one does have some color touch somewhere,  I think under the tape, and it's certainly low grade, but I love the cover and there are only 6 of then on the census, so I figured I'd add it.

More Evelyn books, the ones I'm showing I've had at least 15 years. I never know why these issues were not more "Popular" there are some really good stories in them, but maybe they are not around. The Supermind and Son stories are my favorites, I had a few more originally, way before I even thought about scarcity, I just bought books I thought had neat covers;)  The Supermind stories  had some ideas about gadgets that we use today, but maybe theirs are a little better.

#52 was from  Flatrock02. Mike was wonderful at finding books he thought others would like. He found some of the last Sensation comics I needed, he'd scour auctions all over the country and just tell people where to look. He was a very kind soul and I miss him on here. He found  this one for me the year before he passed away, so I'm mushy about it, glue splash  and all, there are 7. The other 2 were from Evelyn's husband's collection. #59 has 3 on the census, # 66 has 6.
