I have to imagine a good percentage of boardies had never seen the ads that you're complaining about due to widespread use of blockers... well, until you posted that image anyway :whatthe:

Uh, yeah, right - and the Easter Bunny brings chocolate eggs. meh

Most of the boardies don't block sigs either. :eyeroll:

I find this a bit much:

If you think thats bad you should have seen what I saw in the sauna back in the seventies up in Muskoka.

Right now I see the same two Zenescope books though I never search for Zenescope stuff since I have no interest. However I do use this computer almost exclusively for hardcore pornography so any explanation is on the table.

Which ads do you see?

Paging through them using the arrows I see the same Greg Horn junk and some Metallica book and a Horizon slab.  All CGC slabs but absolutely nothing I've ever shown even the slightest inkling towards searching for, looking at, or wanting.

Aside from being CGC slabs, the algorithm missed the mark pretty dramatically if it's targeted.

I don't see any ads on this site. I recommend people use a blocker so this kind of thing doesn't become an issue.

Ditto.

And I don't see signatures either.

No, it means you were probably searching for books similar to those displayed.

When I came into this thread I was looking up the Venom #150 Unknown Comics variant. It is an homage cover to ASM #316. You know what was displayed in my ebay ad? ASM #316.

I went through a bunch of books on gpa from a craigslist ad and lo and behold when I went to ebay 4 of those books, in the exact grades, were on the home page. I did not click through from gpa on them as far as I can recall. VERY effective. Or I spaced and also looked at them on ebay

My main point is that these books, Boundless & Zenoscope, are sold in Previews. Right there in Previews! Not Previews Adult (currently up to issue #344).

But apparently I am a fanboy, nay drooling fanboy and I need to grow up.

Classic what you collect sucks what I collect rulz with a lil ad hominem logical fallacy thrown in for good measure.

I am a fan but can't recall looking up anything Metallica for years...especially a Metallica comic. :headbang:

then again, maybe me doing :headbang: all of the time caused it. I'm changing to :cloud9:....awaiting the results. Stay tuned for updates.
