Incredible how this hobby has turned into a business.  I venture to say that the average collector could never afford to own any of the top 20 books in NM condition.

ASM 1 in my opinion will stay in the 7th position. And ASM 1 may actually go down to 8th place....X-Men #1 may pass it. Other than that in the top 10 SC4 may pass FF1 but not sure if it will be this year or next year. And that seems like a huge jump in ranking for Action Comics 252....may go to 15th or 16th. As for TTA27 been bumped down by Avengers 1 I don't see that happening yet....maybe in a few years. As for TOS39 in my opinion it will stay at #9.

1-AF15

2- Hulk 1

3- FF1 (In my opinion it should be ranked #4 but it won't)

4 - SC4 (In my opinion it should be ranked #3 but it won't)

5- BB28

6- JIM83

7- X-Men #1

8- ASM1

9- TOS 39

10- TTA 27

11- Avengers 1

12- SC22

13- Flash 105

14- JLA 1

15- OAAW 83

16- Action Comics 252

17- Adventure Comics 247

18- Showcase 8

19- Strange Tales 110

20- FF5

in the real world, AF15 is followed closely by SC4 grade for grade...no other SA book is even that "close" to 1 and 2

Agreed but he said the top 20 in Overstreet.

hahahaha nah I will pass my turn.....you can go right ahead.....but I will buy at his prices though!! Gator what is your take on ASM1 who is closer to reality me saying it will be at either #7 or # 8 or what the other member stated at #4? Has there been that many high price sales to justify such a huge jump in rankings?

Where would you rank Avengers 1 and SC22? Avengers seem pretty common compared to SC22 but I know that is not what counts in the end it's demand.

from value standpoint
OOAW 83 is 10, then maybe sc22, tta27, avng 1

Makes sens OOAW is a rare book in mid to high grades....but is the demand there in the actual market place or is it a book only a few collectors actually purchase and that's it? I know I would like to own one but will most likely never actually buy one.

I've sold 4 copies in the past year...easy book to sell...demand outweighs supply...2.5 or 4.0 or 6.0, it sells more per point than sc 22 or avg 1...though I think sc 22 is on the uptick again

Thanks I was wondering what the real take was on OOAW 83. Yeah SC22 is still pretty cheap compared to SC4 (I don't think it will pass SC4 but still a key book with a great cover)....they are both key DC books that are scarce compared to most other top 10 books.
