I don't think you need to press this unless there is a spine curl. It won't help the color breaks or spine wear. Just my 2¢.

The top edge looks pretty tattered so I'd think it would do more damage than good to press it up and more visible.

I'm thinking 3.5 / 4.0 which is still a sweet book.

Spine and corners are well worn, there are color breaking folds, ripples, and some foxing. I'd go with a 3.0 - 3.5.
