Me neither. With Wrightson, why go for this piece? You can tell it is Wrightson and yes, fans prefer something over nothing, but this piece contains little of what makes Wrightson remarkable (at least in my opinion).

That was a great read though, so nostalgia is a driver.  If it wasn't by Wrightson I don't think nostalgia alone would have driven it to $22K (or $40k)

One of Jim Steranko's $150 Fury Icon sketches, on comic board.  Jim brings these to every show, as an affordable option for fans.
They typically sell for $150-300 on ebay (depending on how many auctions are running).

 

Seeing the $1,200 price tag was jaw dropping.  Am I missing something?
